Kevin started his media career in Sydney, Australia—where one of his very first campaigns was launching Netflix in his home country. While others were focusing on one aspect of media, Kevin intentionally sought opportunities to master all disciplines of media. Providing a holistic, harmonized media strategy remains one of his top goals for every client we serve.

Before joining Adams & Knight, Kevin led the media practice at NY-based Mekanism, where he helped significantly grow the agency’s media business across an array of sectors—including financial services, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, and leisure/entertainment.

Kevin is a frequent contributor to such leading industry publications as Digiday, AdWeek, and eMarketer.

What awards/recognition do you value most?

What means the most to me is when clients take time out of their incredibly busy days to express what great work our team is doing to deliver meaningful results. That’s what it is all about.

I also love hearing from others I have mentored at some point in their career. I’m so passionate about helping others reach their goals. So it’s great to hear from them years later how well equipped they felt to take their next big step.  

What do you find most fulfilling about your work?

I am extremely passionate about marketing and media. At my core I am a problem solver. I genuinely feel so lucky that my career is so intimately tied to solving problems. I am extremely competitive as well and take great pride in winning competitive pitches…and cornhole competitions at our agency outings.

What traits help you succeed?

I love mentoring people and watching them grow. My focus is always on elevating my team, so we continue to lift and inspire each other. When everyone is in harmony, we do our best work.

What motivates you?

I hate being told no, or something can’t be done, or it’s too ambitious. I make it a point to overcome the impossible and lead the way, always exceeding expectations.

What activities do you enjoy?

I’m a huge nerd so playing video games, watching anime or just hanging out with friends at a bar.

Of which achievements are you most proud?

I didn’t grow up affluent. At 25 I left my home country and moved to New York without knowing anyone and hoping my apartment was real. Now I have a successful career, surrounding by incredible friends and have built a truly incredibly life.

What would people find most surprising about you?

  • I wrote a book when I was 18 and was even offered a publication contract.
  • I’ve been to over 40 U.S. states.
  • I speak Australian.

Who would you invite to your fantasy dinner table?

My four siblings and parents. I can research about anyone famous and understand exactly who they were and what they would say. But time with loved ones is truly priceless.

What is the most important legacy you hope to leave?

That I was known for being a good man.
